How many have you read?!

Did you know it is fantasy and sci-fi week on Goodreads?! Nope neither did I – you can find a link to the top 50 fantasy books here.

I was shocked to find I had only read 4! How have I only managed 4?! I have a confession to make at this point, I don’t like JRR Tolkien, Middle Earth does nothing for me – he features twice in the list so we can knock those out the running. A couple of those books I would class as borderline fantasy – Stephen King?!

So what have I read?

  1. American Gods by Neil Gaiman, a book with so much going on, brilliant and one I feel I need to revisit.
  2. Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison, this is a great series. A fabulous cast of characters, all the books have great plots and they are brilliantly written.
  3. Half Way to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost – who doesn’t love a good vampire book? A twist on the vampire myth and laugh out loud funny in places.
  4. Mort by Terry Pratchett – do I need to explain why? The man was a genius!

And that is it – horrified and I will be rectifying the situation as soon as possible, well after I’ve read the new C.F Iggulden, Lesley Glaister, Tamora Pierce ……….

So much fantasy so little time, what’s a girl to do?!

How many have you read? Any you would like to see reviewed? Let me know below.
